This afternoon’s special chef was Mr. Chocolate himself, Jacques Torres, who recounted the debut of his love for food in his hometown of Bandol, France, his path to New York, and his love of chocolate. He also gave a whimsical demonstration on Chocolate Mousse using balloons as chocolate cup molds.
