Chef’s Story by PBS

JacquestorresFilming is in the works on several interviews/demos by some absolutely amazing chefs at the French Culinary Institute in New York City for a new program called "Chef’s Story" due to air Spring 2007 on PBS!!!! Interested in being a studio audience member? E-mail chefsstory@frenchculinary.com with your name, phone number, e-mail address and taping day preferences. For more information on specific dates and times, please go to FCI.
This afternoon’s special chef was Mr. Chocolate himself, Jacques Torres, who recounted the debut of his love for food in his hometown of Bandol, France, his path to New York, and his love of chocolate. He also gave a whimsical demonstration on Chocolate Mousse using balloons as chocolate cup molds.
If you’ve never stopped by either of his shops in New York, on your next visit you will be in for a very special Willy Wonka-esque treat.
Don’t forget to reserve your audience space today as filming ends May 2!
