Hello all!
Just a quick tidbit on a lovely little place in NYC – The Diner. It’s no secret, it’s not ya Uncle Jimmy’s typah dinah, and it is in the fateful Meatpacking District (ugh…). However…it’s 24-hours, they play upbeat dancy music for the young-at-heart, and the Disco Fries (smothered in gravy, melted cheddar & mozzarella) are kinda groovy (wait, isn’t that my mom’s lingo?). Anyhoo, go there and ask for the dahhhhling waitress Rachel. Enjoy!

P.S. If you happen to be in Seattle during Mother’s Day weekend, don’t forget to buy ya mama some cheese! It’s once again Seattle Cheese Festival at Pike Place Market. If you don’t know anything about cheese, take a seminar for $30. Or why not just you and your mother spend all weekend taking the 8 sessions for only $200. Come on, it’s your mom. You can spend one whole weekend with together. (Pssst…There are a couple of seminars on wine and beer-pairing, if that helps.)
