Day 3:
Whew! Still waiting for the cupcake frosting to get its act together, so I can frost those babies and top ’em with walnuts. Got a late start today, but finally finished almost everything aside from the final preparations, which will be done tomorrow. Finished the cucumber soup; mixed the avocado-wasabi aioli that goes with the tuna tartare in won ton cups. Prepared the buffalo chicken samosas for tomorrow’s baking; and made about a zillion chocolate brownie cupcakes. Also chopped and mixed a few things here and there to ease up on tomorrow’s preparation time.
It’s going to be an interesting cab ride, but I think all will turn out just fine.
Have to go watch a rerun dvd of ‘Six Feet Under‘ before I turn in. I’ll keep you posted on the outcome of the party. Have a delicious evening!
