A brutal couple of days of food poisoning have pushed me into a diet of chicken broth with rice, crackers, bananas and antibiotics – a gourmet meal to some, and to me as well considering yesterday it was barely water. A reminder that my body is alive and a force to be reckoned with. No more abuse, I promise.
