Glenn Fleishman on Crumble & Flake’s (and my) Perils of Word-of-Mouth Advertising

The Economist comments on why people like me (who neither wake up early enough nor care to) still haven’t tasted Mr. Crumble & Flake’s already overpriced croissants. After arriving one day at 10am to find only about 5 things left in the case, I haven’t been back. Who are these people on the Hill who wake up so early anyhoo and why is he only doing one baking round per day? Jeez. Time to make the donuts.
