When I can’t be around, Nana’s neighbors keep an eye out, checking from time to time to make sure she’s ok. I am not a fan of the town she lives in, but that’s where she wants to be, and at least she has decent people around her.
This year, she wanted to give them a little something. I thought about making them a healthy casserole (hint hint, they often bring her McNuggets or pies – eegad! – but can’t be fussy). But she opted for cookies. And whatever Nana wants, Nana gets. So after pouring over cookbooks and traipsing from online recipe to recipe, I came across Midget Momma‘s Whoville Cookies. Easy enough that I can fit making them in between the Christmas rush and work time, and cute enough to make others think they took a bit of work. Click on this link to find the recipe for the tasty, buttery, swirly nibblies. The neighbors seemed to appreciate them, and I even kept a few for tea time. Yay! Check! Happy Holidays!!
